This year, ArtPlacer proudly joined Pinta BAphoto 2024, Latin America’s leading photography fair, as it marks its 20th edition at La Rural, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Known for celebrating emerging and established photographers, the fair is recognized for its dynamic mix of exhibits and its embrace of innovative technology—something ArtPlacer brought to both attendees and gallery owners, transforming how art is experienced and appreciated.

Pinta BAphoto: A Hub for Photography in Latin America
Pinta BAphoto has been instrumental in elevating photography as a prominent art form in Latin America. What started as a pioneering event is now a critical platform that unites galleries, artists, and collectors from across the continent. This year’s edition featured a diverse lineup of both emerging talent and iconic artists, each presenting works that resonate and inspire. Integrating tools like ArtPlacer’s online portfolios and Art Wall Advisory sessions, the fair highlighted how technology can deepen the connection between photography and its audience.
Complementing real-world and digital experiences
ArtPlacer’s mission is to help people see art in a personal, real-world context, and at Pinta BAphoto, our tools were available to every visitor, turning art into a true-to-life experience. By partnering with the fair, we introduced interactive ways for attendees to envision art within their own spaces, making it even easier to fall in love with the work.
With just a click on the “View in Your Room” button in Pinta BAphoto’s online portfolio, the artwork appeared to-scale within a beautiful room mockup, and by clicking on the “View in Augmented Reality”, visitors could interact with the artwork in their own surroundings. Each photograph also had an “Inquiry” button for collectors to ask for more information about the pieces easily.
Personalized Art Wall Advisory Sessions at the ArtPlacer booth
One of the highlights of ArtPlacer’s presence at Pinta BAphoto is the Art Wall Advisory sessions. Visitors who stopped by our booth received one-on-one assistance from ArtPlacer’s team, who helped them create art layouts tailored to their walls and preferences. It was a unique way to see how photographs can complement each other, bringing individual personalities and spaces into harmony.
